"Confusing buttons"
The buttons weren’t labeled, so I got confused quickly. I kept tapping around trying to figure out what did what, and it felt more like... just not very user-friendly.

"The crowds were messy, and…"
The crowds were messy, and I wasn’t really sure where I was supposed to line up. Staff didn’t seem to be managing the lines much, so everyone was kind of just guessing and moving around. It made the whole experience more confusing than it needed to be.

"Nice Zoo Visit, But the Signs Could Use a Little Help"
I visited Birmingham Zoo recently, and for the most part, getting around was easy. We found the main exhibits without too much wandering, and the maps posted around the park were actually helpful. That said, a few of the smaller paths were kind of confusing, and one sign was basically hiding behind plants, which was a little annoying. But we still had a really good time and never felt completely lost or anything. It would just be nice if some of the arrows were bigger and easier to spot

I wasn’t expecting much, but the food was really good. The fries were fresh, the burgers tasted great, and the kids were happy with it too. Worked out better than I thought.

"A Fun Family Outing"
I brought my family here, and the kids really had a great time. It was easy to walk around, there was plenty to see, and overall it felt well kept, even if a few spots could maybe use a little extra attention. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back again.

"Playground was a total win"
We went to the Birmingham Zoo last weekend the playground ended up being one of the best parts. It was clean, had lots for the kids to climb on, and they seriously did not want to leave... Perfect little break between seeing the animals and just letting them run around for a bit.

"Good visit overall"
We had a good visit. The staff answered our animal questions easily, which was nice. One area was a little busy though, but overall it was a good experience.

We visited on a really hot day, so I was a little worried about how it would go with the kids. Thankfully, there were plenty of shaded spots to take breaks and cool off. It still got warm at times, of course, but having those areas made walking around so much easier and a lot more manageable for everyone...

"Easy to Get Around"
I really liked the layout here. It was easy to follow, and we didn’t have to do a bunch of backtracking, which was nice. The signs were clear enough, too, so we found the food, bathrooms, and exhibits without getting all turned around

"Train ride wasn’t really worth it"
I mainly went for the train ride with my kids, and it was kind of a let down. We waited a long time and then the ride felt over so fast, plus there wasn’t much to look at. The staff were nice enough, no problem there, but for what we paid I was expecting more. The zoo itself was okay, but I wouldn’t go just for the train again...

I mean, the animals were really nice to see and all, and I did enjoy that part, but like, the learning side of it felt thin. I was kind of expecting a bit more information or, you know, something a little more engaging, but it just didn’t really have much depth

"Cute little gift shop after the zoo"
We popped into the gift shop before heading out and I was actually happy with what they had. There were lots of cute animal toys, shirts, mugs, and little kid-friendly souvenirs that didn’t all feel exactly the same. Prices were about what I’d expect at a zoo, and I found a nice little keepsake quickly

"Easy, clean visit with the kids"
We were staying close by, so we just walked over, which made the whole visit so much easier. The zoo was clean, easy enough to get around, and the kids had a great time. It was a nice way to spend a few hours without having to deal with parking. I’d definitely go again, though if it ever got too crowded or messy, we’d probably just leave and find something else to do.

"Took the kids to Birmingham Zoo and…"
Took the kids to Birmingham Zoo and, shockingly, they had an absolute blast. Between the train, the splash pad, and the animal talks, they were entertained for hours, which is basically a parenting miracle. The zoo was easy to walk around too, so I didn’t feel like I was training for a marathon. We left exhausted, happy, and already talking about going back soon.

"Such a nice day at the zoo"
We had a really lovely day out, honestly. The weather was nice, the kids were in a good mood, and most of the animals were actually out where we could see them instead of hiding away, which always feels like a bit of a win. The giraffes were definitely the highlight for the kids — they could’ve stood there watching them for ages. Just one of those easy, happy family days.
